our mission:

TradeWorks Collective, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that exists to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create career pathways in the skilled trades. We believe every student, regardless of background, deserves the opportunity to work with their hands, learn practical skills, and explore high-demand careers that keep our communities running.

What We Do:

Through our flagship program, Shop Class, we deliver hands-on workshops in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, and building science. Partnering with schools, nonprofits, and industry experts, we give youth and adults real-world experience, industry connections, and the tools they need to succeed in life and work.

Why it matters:

The Skilled Trades Need You
Our nation is facing a skilled labor shortage — but the solution starts in our own neighborhoods. Skilled trades offer well-paying, stable, and rewarding careers without requiring massive student debt. By introducing these opportunities early, we’re not only preparing individuals for meaningful work, but also strengthening the backbone of our communities.
